Jim McAlister grew up in traditional churches most of his life. His Spiritual Gift is the Gift of Service. In his 20's, Jim served as a Hospital Administrator for a small mission hospital in Liberia, West Africa. Upon returning to the States he has served on a church mission board and has spent many years working with church youth groups. Jim received a true understanding of God's Grace while attending God's Rolling Thunder in the summer of 2002. Since then he has served on the GRT Care Team, and currently enjoys serving on the GRT Leadership Team. Jim and his better half, Wendy, have three adult children and one in high school. Once or twice a year they enjoy riding their Harley's into prison and ministering to the inmates. Jim also believes that community service is an important part of his Christian walk and has done Habitat for Humanity projects and currently SCUBA dives weekly as volunteer diver at the GA Aquarium. He hopes that through God's Rolling Thunder, others will find a personal relationship with Christ and experience the FREEDOM of God's GRACE.
